El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar el servicio formación académica, mediante una auditoria informacional, para conocer en que forma se utiliza la información, los recursos con que se cuenta para hacer accesible la información, la preparación que tienen las personas que trabajan en esa sala, las herramientas que se utilizan para interactuar con la información y el uso que hace el sector educacional de la información existente.
Esta auditoria se realizó mediante el modelo de J. Bryson para evaluar el Centro de Documentación e Información Pedagógica (CDIP) de la Universidad Pedagógica ¨José Martí¨ en la provincia de Camagüey.

[English abstract]

The present work has as objective to characterize the academic service formation, by means of an informational audit, to know the way in which the information is used, the resources we have to make accessible the information, the preparation that people working in that room have, the tools used for interacting with the information and the use that makes the educational sector with the current information. This audit was carried out by means of J. Bryson’s pattern to evaluate the Centre of Documentation and Pedagogic Information (CDIP) of the ¨José Martí¨ Pedagogical College in the Camagüey province.
